ACV facts & figures
At ACV Auctions, we continuously strive to improve the car buying experience for our dealers. In our next Product Power Up installment, Matt Mitteldorfer, Director of Sales Enablement, met with Greg Borowski, our VP of Product, to discuss the exciting new features that have been rolled out on our platform.
Improved Ended Auctions
One significant improvement Greg highlights is the enhanced Ended Auctions feature. Cars that don’t sell during their initial listing move into the Ended Auctions lane, where they become available for offers. This has been a staple feature of ACV, but recent upgrades have improved the end-to-end experience for both sellers and buyers. Sellers now have a comprehensive dashboard to manage offers, leading to a higher success rate. For buyers, ended auctions are now sorted to highlight vehicles most likely to transact, increasing the chances of successful purchases.
No Reserve Preview Lane Advantage
Another popular feature on ACV is the No Reserve Preview Lane. Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, we hold no reserve events where cars start at zero and are guaranteed to sell. Greg explains that before these events, cars are placed in a preview lane, allowing dealers to inspect, favorite, and add vehicles to their watchlist.
Tracking Purchases with My ACV
After securing a winning bid, the My ACV account page becomes a one-stop spot for all your tracking needs. My ACV provides detailed updates on title, transportation status, and more. Dealers can track their won vehicle from the selling dealership all the way to their lot, providing transparency and setting clear expectations for reconditioning and resale.
