ACV facts & figures
Summary
Tim Scoutelas from ACV spoke with Perry Feavel, the General Manager at Luther Cadillac. They discussed innovations in dealership practices, particularly focusing on changes in car appraisal processes.
Feavel highlighted how the pandemic prompted Luther Cadillac to encourage remote customer interactions, which posed challenges for appraisals since traditionally, dealers needed to inspect cars in person. This shift led to an increase in "site unseen" appraisals, where appraisals are conducted without physically seeing the vehicle. To address this, Luther Cadillac adopted Clear Car, which allows customers to upload photos of their vehicles for appraisal. This tool, fully branded for Luther Cadillac, helps salespeople and appraisers at the dealership by providing detailed images and identifying damage, which aids in assessing the vehicle's condition.
