In October 2024, the top 5 spots for top selling models held steady. However there were some new entries this month, a few that dropped off the list entirely and a bit of some changes in rankings for the month.  Here is a look at the full list with a few topline insights. 

October 2024 Overall Insights:  

Noticeable changes from September 2024 to October 2024: 

• The Mount Rushmore of top selling vehicles stayed the same from September to October:  Ford F-150(1), Chevy Silverado 1500 (2), Ford Escape(3), Jeep Grand Cherokee(4), and Honda Accord (5)
• In October, the Chevrolet Malibu, Ford Fusion, and Subaru Forester dropped out of the top 20, making room for new entries: the Ford Edge, Toyota Corolla, and Toyota Highlander.
• There were some small shifts from month to month
  • The Honda CR-V rose to #6, moving up one spot.
  • The Toyota Camry and Ram 1500 each climbed one position to secure #7 and #8, respectively.
  • The Honda Civic made a notable leap, advancing to #9 from #11 and the Ford Explorer slipped from #6 to #10.

Toyota’s Dominance

Toyota comes up tops this month, with five models in the top 20, including the Camry, RAV4, Corolla, Tacoma, and Highlander. 

SUVs Dominate Half the List 

Ten of the top 20 vehicles sold in October were SUV’s with Ford dominating with three SUV in on the list with the Escape, Explorer, and Edge
